AODD Air-Operated Diaphragm Pump - Classic Series
Capacity - Fits your Application
Material body - AODD Air-Operated Diaphragm Pump
Body made of aluminium
Air operated diaphragm pumps with aluminum body are used for liquids such as mineral oils, diesel, fuel oil, motor oils, drilling emulsion or solvent-based paints. Suitable for neutral, slightly flammable, neutral pH (pH = 5-8) fluids. Not suitable for halogen hydrocarbons.
Body made of iron cast
The economical alternative to stainless steel. Well suited for pumping abrasive media, high density and viscosity. For pH 4-5 and 9-10.
Body made of stainless steel
Pump with stainless steel housing have very good corrosion resistance, good abrasion resistance. They are suitable for water-based paints and solvent-based media. pH 0-3 and 11-14.
Body made of Polyproylene (PP)
The pump housings manufactured by plastic injection molding of polypropylene have very good chemical properties and can be used universally.
Body made of Acetal and conductive acetal
The double diaphragm pumps from acetal are resistant to solvents and coatings. For ATEX areas we provide a conductive version for flammable materials. Acetal is not suitable for strong acids and bases.
Body made of PVDF (Kynar)
The high-quality pump made of PVDF are highly resistant to chemicals, similar to PTFE, have good compressive strength and are abrasion resistant.
Material diaphragm - AODD Air-Operated Diaphragm Pump
Due to our range of different materials for the housing we offer our customers an extensive selection of diaphragm, valve balls and valve seats. According to the customers medium, the components of the pumps are tested and matched to material compatibility and operating conditions. All components are made of high quality raw material.
Diaphram made of PTFE (-30°C to +90°C)
PTFE is a smooth plastic material having a high temperature resistance of up to 90 ° C. It has excellent chemical resistance and a low friction resistance. PTFE is used when chemical resistance is of great importance for applications and with food.
Diaphragm made of NBR (-40°C bis +120°C)
NBR is used for applications with oils, minerals and animal oils. It has good mechanical properties and is resistant to deformation.
Diaphragm made of EPDM (-37°C bis +120°C)
The EPDM diaphragm are resistant to water, solvents, alcohols, and abrasive media. EPDM is not resistant to minaral oil.
Diaphragm made of Santoprene
Santoprene is a thermoplastic elastomer and is resistant to acids, oil-based fluids and greases.
Diaphragm made of FKM (Viton)
This material is also at high temperatures up to 175 ° C and is resistant to synthetic hydraulic oils, gear oils, mineral oils and vegetable oils.
